Mobiform is a compact rollforming machine designed for on-site production, with the versatility to perform just as well in a production shop.

For on-site applications, Mobiform can be equipped with 1, 2, or 3 integrated coil stands, each designed to handle coils weighing up to 1,100 lbs or 2,200 lbs, depending on the configuration. For in-shop production, the feeding rollers can be quickly repositioned to the bottom of the machine, allowing material to be fed from an external decoiler.

One of the biggest challenges with compact and mobile rollformers is residual stress in the formed panels. Once installed on a roof or wall, this stress can cause visible waviness known as oil canning, compromising the appearance of the finished surface.

Quick-Change Forming Rolls

Mobiform’s forming system is divided into three segments, each featuring quick-change forming rolls on both sides. The supplied lifting tool allows both sides to be changed simultaneously, making profile changeovers fast, simple, and efficient.

Adjusting panel width is just as straightforward. Hand-operated adjustment mechanisms on the side of the machine allow the operator to set the desired width quickly. Integrated position indicators show the roll settings at a glance, eliminating the need for manual measurements or opening the machine to check the settings.

Stepless Width Adjustment

Unlike systems limited to predefined width settings, Mobiform offers stepless width adjustment throughout its operating range. This flexibility allows operators to produce panels at virtually any width within the machine’s specifications.

It also makes it possible to reuse leftover coils of non-standard widths on future projects, reducing material waste and improving overall production efficiency.

When changing material thickness, a simple eccentric adjustment system on the forming rolls allows for quick and convenient setup.

Easy-to-Use Automation

Mobiform features an intuitive touchscreen control system with programmable panel lengths and piece quantities. An integrated encoder ensures accurate length measurement for consistent, repeatable production.

All electrical components are housed in an IP64-rated enclosure, protected against dust and water ingress. The enclosure slides between dedicated working, transport, and maintenance positions, providing convenient access while keeping the machine compact for transport.

With its 240 V, 32 A electrical connection, Mobiform can operate from a suitable professional-grade generator or a heavy-duty electrical outlet, making it well suited to both job-site and in-shop production.

State-of-the-Art Cutting Unit

Mobiform’s high-performance guillotine cutter delivers clean, precise cuts with minimal burr formation. A spring-loaded sheet holder keeps the material securely in place during cutting, helping ensure a consistent finish.

The cutting unit is integrated into the material feed section alongside the drive rollers. This entire assembly can be easily removed, simplifying maintenance and servicing.

A dedicated opening beneath the feed section allows small steel offcuts to fall through. This is particularly useful when the leading end of a coil contains a few inches of damaged material, allowing the operator to remove the affected section quickly and continue production.
