Double- and Triple-Deck Rollformers

A True Space-Saver

A sheet metal roll forming line takes up considerable space in a production workshop, both because of the length of the machine and the clearance required at the output for producing long sheets.
When available space becomes a limiting factor for your company’s growth, Profiilikeskus double- and triple-deck roll forming machines make it possible to add new products to your portfolio while saving valuable factory floor space.

Switching Profiles Is Effortless

The metal sheet coming from the decoiler is placed on the entry table and clamped between rubber-covered rollers. When selecting the desired profile, the entry table moves up or down to align with the corresponding forming roller set. At the same time, the stacking table automatically adjusts its height to match.
Switching from one profile to another takes only about ten seconds. The pre-cutter integrated into the entry table allows the last piece of the current profile to be cut at the machine’s entrance rather than at the exit. This eliminates material loss during profile or coil changes.
The touchscreen control system makes it easy to select the desired profile. It can also be connected to the factory’s ERP system for sending orders and tracking production in real time.

Two or Three Profiles on the Same Machine

The machine integrates two or three sets of forming rollers mounted on separate levels (or “decks”) within the machine, one per profile. The profiles are selected by the customer, and Profiilikeskus builds the machine based on the customer’s profile drawings and preferred material thicknesses.
The machine is divided into multiple sections, each equipped with its own electric motors. This design reduces stress on shafts and chains, maximizing reliability while minimizing maintenance needs.

A Versatile Stacking Table

As the profiles exit the machine toward the stacking table, they are supported by soft brushes that prevent bending under their own weight and protect against surface scratches. Once the sheet is cut, the brushes move aside, allowing the sheet to drop gently onto the stacking table. The table automatically lowers as production continues to ensure no product falls from excessive height.
When the production batch is complete, the stacking table lifts the stack above the brushes, making it easy to remove using a forklift or overhead crane. If the facility is equipped with an inline packaging system, the stacking table can also be fitted with a conveyor for automatic transfer of completed batches.
