Gutters and Downspouts

Gutter Production by Rollforming

Traditionally, gutter production is carried out using small roll forming machines mounted in trucks. This avoids the need to ship long gutter sections on a semi-trailer.

However, on large construction sites, the limited amount of coil material that these small trucks can carry quickly becomes a constraint. The same goes for the limited production capacity of these lightweight machines when manufacturing large volumes of gutters, for example for a distributor.

An Industrial Gutter Machine

For industrial-scale gutter production, the Profiilikeskus gutter rollformer is the solution, with a production speed exceeding 65 feet per minute (20 m/min).

The machine can be built for rectangular or half-round gutters and various gutter sizes.

With its heavy-duty welded steel frame, 60 mm (2.36″) shafts, and hydraulic shear, the machine is built to last and ensures continuous production, even over multiple work shifts per day.

The user-friendly touchscreen control panel displays a product diagram, and up to 100 standard products can be saved in memory. Programming is available in both inches and millimeters.

The machine is typically paired with an electric decoiler that can handle coils up to 2 tons, enabling long production runs before coil changes are needed.

Downspout and Elbow Machines

To complement the gutter machine, Profiilikeskus also manufactures machines for producing downspouts. The same machine can also form elbows, providing a complete gutter system solution.

Coil Slitting Lines

If gutter production volume becomes high enough, purchasing standard coils and slitting them in-house can be a cost-effective investment. Profiilikeskus also offers coil slitting and recoiling lines.
