Profiilikeskus cutting and slitting machines are reliable and cost-effective. Whether you want to cut sheets to length, slit metal widthwise, or even create multiple coils of different widths, efficient production solutions are available.
Cutting and slitting for most applications
The 1250mm/1.25mm cutting and slitting machine meets the needs of most of our customers. It can handle sheet metal just over 4 feet wide (1250mm or 49 inches) and slit and cut steel from gauge 26 to gauge 18 (thickness from 0.5 to 1.25 millimeters).
It comes standard with 5 pairs of slitting blades, with the option to add more for a total of up to 8 pairs. You can slit into 8 strips from gauge 26 to 24 (0.5 to 0.6mm thick), slit into 5 strips from gauge 26 to 20 (0.5 to 0.9mm), and slit into 3 strips from gauge 26 to 18 (0.5 to 1.25mm).
The machine is also equipped with three straightening rollers to remove the coil set from the metal and deliver flat sheets.
The control system allows you to program the number of pieces and the desired length.
Cutting and slitting for demanding needs
The 1500mm/2.0mm cutting and slitting machine is designed to meet high-volume production demands. With a speed of 25 meters per minute and 4 straightening rollers, it can deliver flat sheets and slit efficiently. Straightening adjustment is electronically controlled, and the rollers release during cutting to avoid marking the sheet.
This machine comes with 5 pairs of slitting knives and can process steel from gauge 26 to gauge 14 (0.5 to 2.0 millimeters thick) up to 59 inches wide (1500mm).
Solutions for flat sheet production
Both cutting and slitting machines are equipped with straightening rollers for the production of flat sheets. A flat sheet receiving table can be added at the machine’s output. For high-volume production, the receiving table can be hydraulic and automatically lower as the production stack grows. This ensures the sheets are always neatly stacked.
Easy recoiling
When producing coils of metal in different widths, the slit strips pass through a felt brake and then through the separator discs of the recoiler. The felt brake tightens the metal strips during winding to ensure the new coil is tightly wound. The braking force is adjustable depending on the desired result.
The recoiler is available for coil widths of 1250mm and 1500mm, with capacities from 5 to 10 tons.
This is the ideal solution for stocking only one coil width and producing coils in different widths as needed, for machines such as the Snap-Lock standing seam machine, gutter machines, downspout machines, etc.
