Electric and Hydraulic Decoilers
Like a forklift or overhead crane, a decoiler is often only noticed when it breaks down, because it halts the entire production line. That’s why Profiilikeskus places special emphasis on the extreme reliability of its full range of decoilers.
Whether you need a decoiler for small coils (2 to 5 tons) with manual or electric expansion, or a high-capacity hydraulic decoiler for coils up to 15 tons, Profiilikeskus can offer equipment tailored to your needs.
The decoilers have a compact design, for instance, one of the decoiler’s legs houses the hydraulic oil tank. This compactness allows the decoiler to be mounted on rails and serve multiple rollforming machines with a single decoiler.
They can also be equipped with loading carts for easy coil loading using a forklift. For operations where the forklift operator is busy across several machines, a multi-position coil loading system can be added.
Stackers for Easy-to-Pack Production Batches
To ensure that the sheets exiting the machine are neatly stacked, an automatic stacker of the correct length is essential.
Among the many stacking solutions offered by Profiilikeskus, the two most commonly used are the “bomb stacker” and the cart stacker.
The bomb stacker is a structure placed above the stacking area, particularly suited for tile-sheet panels. It has fins running along both sides of the stacker’s length. After a sheet is cut, the fins retract to drop the sheet. Most machines use a pneumatic arm or pusher to align each sheet. Once the production batch is ready, the base of the stacker, which sits on rails, slides out of the machine for easy handling.
The cart stacker, on the other hand, features a cart that grabs the end of each sheet and follows it to the cutting unit. Every 4 meters, support rollers are automatically positioned to prevent the sheet from bending under its own weight. This solution leaves the space above the stacker clear, making it easy to remove the finished batch, for example with an overhead crane.
For automated factories or those with additional packaging systems, stackers can be equipped with conveyors to automatically transport production batches to the next stage.
Packaging Machines and Applicators
